DNS BE has just finalised a new version of the Terms & Conditions of domain name registrations under the .BE domain.
Compared with the actual version the following important changes have been introduced:
- Replacement of the terms "licence" and "licensee" by a more accurate terminology;
- Reduction of the delay for execution of an ADR decision (15 days instead of 30 working days);
- Introduction of a rule for the recovery of costs in case of a successful ADR procedure;
- Introduction of the principle that cybersquatters will have to intervene indirectly for a part of the costs of the ADR procedure.
The Terms & Conditions apply for all .BE domain name holders. The new version of the Terms & Conditions (version 4.0) will enter in force on 15 March 2007.
You can find the new version of the Terms & Conditions here.
